This past weekend I was whisked away to Napa with some of my fellow food and travel blogging friends to experience one of the Seven Tickets to Your Paradise Sweepstakes trips with Hilton HHonors!
We had a busy weekend that consistented of dining at some of Napa’s best restaurants, hot air ballooning over Napa Valley and visiting and touring some of the most amazing wineries around.
I was lucky enough to get to experience the Your Ticket to Dine prize package, and here’s the deal… it was spectacular! I ate and drank wine t0 my hearts content and absolutely fell in love with Napa!
One of the highlights of this trip was hands down the food. Napa is home to some of the most amazing restaurants and I wanted to share my list of not to miss restaurants and some of the amazing food we had at each! There are literally hundreds to choose from, but I’ve picked out a few of my favorites…
On our first night we went to Oenotri! It was swanky and fun and the vibe was great!

This fingerling and fontina pizza was out of this world!! The dough was perfection and the toppings were fab!

The pasta with a pork ragu and a boatload of freshly grated parmesan was live changing. I would like to eat that every single day of my life! Especially when it’s cold out and you need a little bit of comfort food!
The second we walked into the door, I felt like I was in Vegas! And that is absolutely not a bad thing! The crowd was way hip and the atmosphere was hot! People were there to have a good time and throw a bit of a party! The cocktails were great and the food was soooo good!

I’m a sucker for a good piece of fish, and this black cod was perfectly cooker and flaky and delicious.
Last, but certainly not least was my meal at Auberge de Soleil. We went for brunch and it was basically the perfect setting for a relaxing and fun brunch.
It’s the perfect place to escape for a little brunch with a loved one.

This rhubarb coffee cake was life changing. And I wanted to take at least 5 of these little suckers home with me!

Perhaps the most memorable meal of the entire weekend. These Huevos Rancheros were epic. The eggs were perfectly cooked, and the avocado to salso to bean ratio was just perfect. And we all know how I feel about my avocado ratio to other items on my place!!
And next time I go back, I’ll be sure to get reservations at….
These were all highly recommended and I can’t wait to try them next time!
All of the food and service was spectacular! It was truly a memorable weekend that anyone who enjoys food and wine would enjoy! What do you think? Want to experience it for yourself and perhaps have the chance to win the Ticket to Dine from Seven Tickets to Your Paradise Sweepstakes, and eat at some of these fantastic restaurants? It’s easy, head over to Hilton’s promo page and enter. The contest runs through August 31, 2012. Official rules available here.
I was just in Napa for a day on Friday and we had dinner at Celadon which I HIGHLY recommend as well. One of the best meals I’ve had in a while from service, to atmosphere, to food.
I am dying to go to Napa this fall for the harvest and this is giving me some amazing food ideas!!! Thanks so much!
But aren’t you going to give us the recipes???? I want the coffee cake please and thank you
I’ll see if I can get the recipes – but they didn’t share any with us!
What a lovely weekend! I love Napa and hope to get there again very soon!
What an amazing trip! Envious!!
I was just in Napa on Sunday as well. Fabulous meal at Cindy’s Backstreet Kitchen in St. Helena which I highly recommend.
