These pulled pork sliders have been on rotation in our house for years. I love that I can throw everything into the slow cooker in the morning, toast some slider buns in the afternoon and then throw it all together when it’s time to eat. It takes absolutely zero concentration which is exactly what I need these coming months because life is about to get a little hectic.

So, if you’re looking for something delicious, easy, simple, and awesome… look no further. Pulled Pork Sliders are your new jam. Throw some pickles or picked onions on top to give it an extra crunch and you’re on your way!

  1. I don't care about football either! Haha. At any superbowl party, I really am just there for the food! Time to bust out the slow cooker. I almost never use it, and this is a great excuse to revive it.

  2. Gaelle, I used to work in a restaurant in which one of my daily lunch items was a pulled pork sandwich in a citrus sauce. Being a rather large operation, we didn't have a slow cooker, so we used standard stainless steel pots, which worked wonderfully. My recommendation to you would be as follows:

Follow the recipe exactly. Put all ingredients into your dutch oven, and place over medium heat to simmer for about 6-8 hours. At that point, remove from heat, and take pork out of the dutch oven. If you wish to shred it hot, do so with forks, or burning of the fingers will insue (trust me...). I prefer to pull by gloved hand when cooled, though it takes some time to cool. After pork has been pulled, return the meat to the pot, and moisten it with the sauce you've saved from prior braising. Just bring the meat back to a simmer, and enjoy.

Just following this will work like a charm everytime. This is easily my favorite lunch in all creation! It is SUCH the perfect sporting event food. All you guests will love it!

  3. I have never had pulled pork before... but just looking at your picture makes me want to try it out. Could I cook it in a Dutch oven if I don't have a slow cooker?

  4. Pulled pork may be one of my favorite things of all time!! Yum, I would love to have pulled pork sliders while I watch the game!!

  5. Gaby, I just may have to make these. Pulled Pork is one of Brian's favorites and doing it in the crockpot makes it so easy!
