There’s absolutely an art to putting together the perfect fruit platter for Summer and today we’re diving in!
I do quite a bit of entertaining and my favorite thing to do before everyone arrives is have a few things prepped and ready to go. That way when people get here, there is always something to nibble on and I’m not stuck running around asking people what they want to eat. Guacamole, chips and salsa are always a given. Hummus and tzatziki with some crudité happens on the regular. And during the summer months I love to put out a giant fruit platter with all the colors of a rainbow! Between those 3 things, some beverages, Palm Breeze naturally, and your friends… I’d say you’re well on your way to a perfect evening.
Okay – let’s talk fruit!
I’m a frequent farmer’s market shopper so everything here came from the local Santa Monica farmer’s market. You can mix and match products as they are available in your area but I always try and get at least one of every color in the rainbow! Check out my list below:
- Santa Rosa plums
- Red top yellow peach
- Page mandarin
- Golden nuggets
- Pixie mandarins
- Blenheim apricots
- Chartreuse mulberries
- Brown Turkey Figs
