I spend an above average amount of time at farmers markets. You could find me wandering the market at least 3 days a week in LA. And in honor of that, I'm kicking off a new feature here in WGC! Each month I'm picking something at the peak of it's season and sharing a whole bunch of recipes featuring the item. And this month... it's all about tomatoes!

Ready for some inspiration... let's do this! A dozen recipes featuring tomatoes that I'm seriously lusting over:
Mexican Corn Panzanella Salad from Aida Mollenkamp
Zucchini Noodles with Roasted Tomatoes from What's Gaby Cooking
Stacked Tomato, Summer Vegetable and Grilled Bread Salad from Cookie and Kate
Roasted corn, farro and tomato salad from SheKnows
Grilled Chicken Margherita Pizza from Joyful Healthy Eats
Heirloom Tomato Salad from Weelicious
Power Salad with Jalapeno Dressing from Bakers Royale
Saffron Tomato Confit from What's Gaby Cooking
Vegan Portobello Pizzas from Minimalist Baker
Fresh Corn and Squash Tacos from Heather Cristo
Tomato Cobbler with Blue Cheese Biscuits from Joy the Baker
Spicy Corn Tomato Avocado Salad from Shutterbean
Toasted Pan Bagnat with Tomatoes, Mozzarella, and Arugula from The Bojon Gourmet

Gaby - thanks for the great recipes!
Those tasty, colorful, ripe tomatoes! Love this!
Love, love, love this idea! And love tomatoes!!!
What a great selection of recipes. I love how you also give credit to other food bloggers. That is so very nice when all of you bloggers spend so much time and effort not only putting the recipe together but great pictures as well. Love tomatoes and love this idea and you didn't just say vegetables. Yeah so there is a good chance for fruits. How about one vegetable and one fruit a month. Gosh, I am pushing my luck. What is your favorite tomato recipe? I guess I would have to say Ina's Panzanella Salad. Thanks Gaby.
Yum! Love tomato season! I'm like you and I hit up 2 or 3 farmers markets a week (Seattle has one almost everyday of the week). It's great to live in places with lots of farmers markets! Can't get enough! Great roundup of recipes!
Gaby,
This is a great idea and I really appreciate all the recipes. Focusing on specific produce helps me make wiser decisions at the market. Thanks, again. Kol Toov (all good things), Marnie
