Citrus Pineapple Sangria

Total Time:

Some people grow trees, some people grow gardens… I like to grow my own sangria! Citrus Pineapple Sangria to be exact!

Citrus Pineapple Sangria

Today I teamed up with my friends over at Miracle-Gro to contribute to the Gro Something Greater campaign! People are growing all sorts of things these days! My mom has a crazy backyard garden that literally puts out to much produce she rarely has to go to the market. I, on the other hand, only grow a few things! Citrus and herbs. Mostly because they seem to be the only things I can keep alive and they are in almost every meal I make. From sweet to savory to cocktails. It’s all about citrus and herbs.

Because of that simple fact, Citrus Pineapple Sangria was born. Sangria is almost too easy to make, and the lemons, lime, oranges, pineapple, basil and mint really brighten this one up and make it shine! It might be freezing and cold in half of the country at the moment, but I’m channeling spring and willing it to come with a glass of sangria!

And as part of the #GroSomethingGreater campaign, I’m hosting a giveaway! I’ve got one Gro Kit to give to one of you! It includes a Gardening journal, Gardening Shears, Gardener’s Hand Therapy Lotion, Gardener’s Soap, and an AMEX giftcard to purchase seeds of their choice to start growing. Enter to win by leaving a comment below and I’ll pick a winner next Friday 21st at noon PST.

Love Sangria! My sisters and I have a Social Friday every week and we get together at one of our homes and we each bring a plate for dinner and the host supplies the drinks and dessert. I know what I am making tonight and I have all of the ingredients except for the basil as mine dried out this year and will replant again this weekend.

    Love your receipes.
