Jump to Recipe

It's that time of the year! Rounding up my favorite cookbooks of 2018 for all your gift giving purposes! These are all books that I use on the regular. Recipes that I know I can 1000% rely on and work. Nothing so pretentious it takes 10000 ingredients to make a recipe... you get the idea. So... without further ado....

What's Gaby Cooking // Everyday California Food - I mean. Obviously. I'm not in the slightest way biased but I think my cookbook is pretty freaking fantastic! And it's on sale right now and it's the prettiest book ever invented!! xx

Six Seasons // A New Way With Vegetables - one of my favorite books of all times, not just this year. If you're into a veggie forward way of living, this book is basically your bible.

Cravings // Hungry For More - who doesn't love a little Chrissy action in their kitchen. It's packed to the brim with pancakes, banana bread, onion dip and plenty of Thai inspired eats from her mama!

Ottolenghi // Simple - one of my favorite authors of all times. His books are always beautiful but sometimes complicated. Not this one, it delivers on simple recipes that you'll love making it your kitchen!

Israeli Soul // Easy, Essential, Delicious - did you know that of the 25+ cities I hit on my book tour, and the countless meals I ate at restaurants, hands down my most favorite meal came from this mans restaurant in Philly. And now we've got a cookbook so we can make it at home! I can't get enough.

Skinny Taste // One and Done Gina's recipes are always reliable, always fast and this time they only require one pot, or Instant Pot or slow cooker - I mean for all you slow cooker lovers out there, you can't get a better book than this!

Everyday Dorie // The Way I Cook - Dorie has long been a go-to for me in the kitchen when it comes to baking. Her recipes are SPOT on and now we get a peek into the everyday recipes she makes! It's everything I want it to be and more!

EMILY // The Cookbook - one of my favorite pizza places in NYC (side note their burger is beyond) now has their favorite recipes in cookbook form! Much easier for me than hoping on a cross country flight whenever I have a craving!

Bestia - easily my favorite restaurant in all of LA. They nail Italian food to a T. The pizza, the salads, the sides, the cocktails, you cannot go wrong!

The Austin Cookbook // Recipes and Stories from Deep in the Heart of Texas - we've hit NYC, LA and now Austin! It's the trifecta of my favorite US cities and the food in Austin is some of the best. Breakfast tacos galore... avocado as far as the eye can see... this one is front and center in my kitchen!
