Easter is a week away and in my mind that also marks the start of brunch season! What better way to celebrate that, than with a French Toast Bar!!
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, bars are my favorite way to entertain. From the Bruschetta Bar to the S’mores Bar and now this French Toast Bar, they are the best! Big boards full of food that your guests can mix or match to create their own perfect meal. I’m obsessed and don’t see that changing anytime soon!
Whip up a batch of my Vanilla Bean French Toast inspired by my culinary school days, and then top it with anything your heart desires!! Bacon, apples, whipped cream, butter, nutella, berries – the possibilities are ENDLESS!
- 10-12 pieces of Vanilla Bean French Toast
- 1 cup Fruit compote
- Lemon Curd
- Sautéed apples
- Whipped Cream
- Maple syrup
- Candied walnuts
- Powdered Sugar
- Prep all your ingredients ahead of time and transfer each topping to an individual serving bowl.
- Arrange the homemade french toast on a large serving platter and scatter the toppings around. Serve immediately and let your friends and family create their own perfect french toast.
I am so excited you are making one of my recipes and I would love to see how it turns out. Make sure to share it on instagram and tag me @whatsgabycookin so I can see your masterpiece!
