Introducing the WGC Cooking Club

Summer is almost here and I want to make it the best / most delicious summer of all times. Last year was... lame. And now that the states are starting to open back up, all I want to do is have friends over and cook. So I thought, let's all do it together / virtually. We're starting the WGC Cooking Club!

WGC Cooking Club

So here goes - today starts the first ever WGC Cooking Club! It's a fun way to bring everyone together virtually. Here’s how it going to work:

  • Each month, I’ll choose one seasonal What's Gaby Cooking Recipe! Something delish and easy.
  • All you have to do is make the specific recipe anytime during the month, snap a picture of it, and email it to me at mail@whatsgabycooking.com by 11:59 PM on the last day of the month. For our first recipe, the deadline will be 11:59 PM on June 30th.
  • By sending your picture to mail@whatsgabycooking.com, you’ll be entered to win a prize. This month we're giving away a 10-piece All Clad set! For a bonus entry, post your photo to your instagram feed (must be public for me to find it) and tag @whatsgabycookin in the photo, in the caption and hashtag it with #WGCCookingClub.
  • At the end of each month, we will announce a randomly selected winner and share all your photos on the website! You'll also be able to check them out on instagram for those of you using that as an extra entry.

June Recipe:

We're kicking things off with a very festive summer recipe. Stone fruit is coming into season across the states so let's get our baking on with this Blackberry Peach Crisp! (and yes you can totally make substitutions as needed)! No blackberries - use blueberries! No peaches - use nectarines! Ice Cream is optional. You get the idea... this is just a fun excuse to get us all cooking together 🙂 COMMUNITY! My fav part of this beautiful world of What's Gaby Cooking.

It's one of my all time favorite summer desserts. And you can absolutely use a GF Flour substitute if you're GF!! Send a photo of your crisp to mail@whatsgabycooking.com by 11:59 PM on June 30th to enter the club. And if you want a second entry, make sure to post it to your instagram feed and tag @whatsgabycookin in the photo, in the caption and hashtag it with #WGCCookingClub. I can’t wait to start this club with you guys!!!

UPDATE: The June winner was announced via Instagram! Congratulations to Harriet Rapista!!
