Bridal Shower Menu

Jump to Recipe

I get a lot of questions asking for menu planning help! I'm talking event planning... not just the weekly meal planning situation! And recently it seems that everyone has been on the bridal shower train. So I spent some time last week re-living all the showers I had been to in the past 10-ish years to put together an incredible Bridal Shower Menu!!

I've been to plenty of showers at fun restaurants, cool event spaces, and peoples homes. They are all special in their own way but my most favorite are the ones at various homes. They feel more casual which is more my jam, and the food is made with extra love since it's usually cooked by a handful of women attending the shower and you can kick your shoes off and relax a bit! So... if I were to host a bridal shower this is what my menu would be! It's brunchy-lunch focused, not too complicated, perfect for any time of day and the leftovers would be BOMB! Let's do this!

Cheese and Scallion Scones - I'm not really sure if these are scones or biscuits, but who cares. If you made a batch of these and served them with sliced prosciutto and sliced cheese and maybe even some scrambled eggs so people could DIY their own sandwiches, everyone would freak!

Broccoli Fontina Quiche - it's hands down the best quiche there is! And you could use whatever veggies you want - but just make sure they aren't too watery!

If you want to go more of the tart route, here are 3 to choose from! Tomato Confit Basil Tart, Pea and Asparagus Tart and a Shallot and Bacon Tart. Bonus - these can all be made a day ahead of time! And you can use store-bought pie crust to save some time! I like to serve them at room temp!

I'm always a fan of avocado toast bar but here's the thing - you don't want to assemble these before your guests arrive otherwise the bread will get soggy. So I'd suggest having the bread sliced, near a toaster for people to DIY their own, and then a bowl of mashed avocado with salt, pepper and lemon juice to keep it from browning and then whatever toppings you want to serve!

Lemon Panko Roasted Asparagus - such a quick and easy side dish!

Double Chocolate Chip Zucchini Bread or Double Chocolate Chip Banana Bread is a must!

Strawberry White Chocolate Scones. HOLY GAME CHANGES. Make them for sure.

Breakfast Yogurt Parfait Bar - pick your fav yogurt and pile on the toppings and granola for a DIY moment!

Happy cooking!!
