Mozzarella, Tomato and Pesto Pizza

For Pesto
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1 cup packed of basil leaves
  • garlic
  • parmesan cheese
  • pine nuts
  • salt and pepper
For Pizza
  • 1 pizza crust
  • homemade pesto
  • fresh mozzarella
  • tomato slices
  • salt and pepper
  1. Stick everything into a food processor, strain in your olive oil and you have freshly made pesto!
For the Pizza
  1. Then all you need to do is assemble your pizza. Use the pesto as your base, as you don't need a red sauce, then layer on your fresh mozzarella, sliced tomatoes and salt and pepper! Place your pizza into a preheated over (500 degrees) on your pizza stone and bake for 10-12 minutes! Enjoy!!
